Graphics and Media Manager - Indianapolis

Taft is seeking a Graphics and Media Manager to support our team in Taft’s Indianapolis office.

 

Position Objective

Taft, a growing law firm located in eight primary Midwest markets and Washington, D.C., is looking for a full time graphics and media manager to join its Indianapolis office. Taft Indianapolis is located in the heart of downtown at the beginning of the Mass Ave Cultural Arts District.

Taft is a modern law firm and the marketing and business development (MBD) team is on the front lines of the firm’s innovation. As a valued member of the team, you will get a hands-on learning experience, collaborating to enhance and maintain Taft’s brand presence.

As our graphics and media manager, you will report to our director of branding and digital marketing.

 

Key duties and Responsibilities:


  • Upholding and advancing Taft brand standards in visual communication and video projects.
  • Designing advertisements (print and digital) and event invitations, working with MBD team members across the Taft markets.
  • Designing branded handouts, seminar materials, PowerPoint presentations, on-site signage, and other marketing pieces consistent with the Taft brand.
  • Retouching and cropping attorney photos and uploading them to the website backend.
  • Strategic content and UX management of the firm's website, including frequent coordination with Taft's website development vendor.
  • Development and editing of video content for the firm website, social media, and other uses.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop), Microsoft Office, photo editing, and visual communication principles.
  • Strong knowledge of website content management systems and HTML. Experience with WordPress a plus.
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills with an ability to effectively interact with attorneys and staff.
  • Strong video editing skills. Experience with Camtasia a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem solving ability and eagerness to pursue new challenges independently or collaborate with a team.
  • Willingness to jump in on tasks where needed.
  • Knowledge of AP Style, online survey tools (Survey Monkey or similar), and outbound e-communication tools a plus.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in design, visual communications, media, or related field.
  • Professional Services experience preferred.
